Principal's Message
The school year is well under way and I want to welcome all of our new and returniung students to the 2024-2025 school year . A big thanks to our LINK students and staff for the work they did on the first day of school for helping our grade 9’s in their transition to highschool.
Our LINK students and staff worked hard to welcome approximately 275 grade 9 students to West with orientation activities. Our Link students and staff have also planned several activities for the grade 9's over the semester to continue with this transition work.
Students are very excited to be back and we have already begun fall sports with the school planning a full slate of sport offerings throughout the year. Our staff and students are happy to be starting to plan for the many amazing activities that take place in and out of the classroom.
Our online payment system greatly simplifies things for parents making it much easier for them to make any necessary payments and it also allows parents to easily track all of their purchases made. This is our primary method to collect payments from parents. If you have not done so yet, please go to our home page and click on the School Cash Online icon to register for an account, you only need to do this once. Please contact the school if you are having difficulty using it and we can assist you, Of course, we are still accepting payments by debit or cheque through our main office if you like.
