School Council

The West Carleton School Council (WCSS) is a committee of parents/guardians who volunteer their time to come together, learn about what is happening at our school, share thoughts and provide suggestions, and work to enhance our learning environment.

Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month. Our meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. and are held in the library at West Carleton Secondary School.

All parents/guardians are welcome to be a part of this fantastic group!

The following is a message from our School Council Executive:

Hi everyone. Your 2018-2019 West Carleton Secondary School parent council would like to welcome you to the new school year. Every year is exciting, but this one could be special -- with your help.

If you'd like to give a donation, use the attached form and return it to the school. Any amount you give will be a big help! We'll also be selling food at meet the teacher nights as a way to raise money so we can help fund special areas of need identified by staff and students.

Here's the calendar for council meeting for this school year. Council meets every third Tuesday of the month in the WCSS library starting at 6:30 pm. We try to keep the meetings to an hour. Come out and see what we do and what you can do to help!
