The Scholarship Report

The Scholarship Report is a bimonthly, online resource to help students and their families navigate the lengthy and time consuming process of applying to scholarships.

Students can access the publication through career cruising. It appears on their career cruising homepage under 'Suggested Links'. A paper copy is available in Guidance to view!


2019 Schulich Leader Scholarships 

50 Scholarships are awarded annually (25 at $100,000 for engineering and 25 at $80,000 for science, technology or mathematics)

Canadian Schulich Leader Scholarships are undergraduate scholarships for students intending to enroll in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) area of study at one of the participating universities

 All Canadian high schools may submit

Apply to Become a Burger King Scholar

Heer Law Entrepreneurship Scholarship

Scholarship value is $2000 CAD. This scholarship was created with the intention of helping young entrepreneurs and leaders to learn how to protect their business.

STEAM Horizon Awards

Founded in 2016, the STEAM Horizon Awards invite Canada's youth to promote positive changes throughout their community using science, technology, engineering, arts, and math(STEAM). 

Five Canadian students will be awarded $25,000 each, to attend a Canadian university or college to study in a STEAM field.

Terry Fox Humanitarian Award

Terry Fox Awards are open to graduating secondary students who are planning on attending a university or college inn a Canadian Institution.

Royal Canadian Legion Bursary Assistance Program

The program opens in September and closes the last Friday of March each year.

Cliff Bennett Nature Bursary Fund 

The Bursaries - one or more awards of $1,000 in 2019  - will go to area graduating secondary school students with a demonstrated love of and appreciation for our natural environment.
