The Scholarship Report is a bimonthly, online resource to help students and their families navigate the lengthy and time consuming process of applying to scholarships.

Students can access the publication through career cruising. It appears on their career cruising homepage under 'Suggested Links'. A paper copy is available in Guidance to view!

OCENET The Lynch Getty Global Student Award

Award Value of $1,000. This is awarded to four grade 12 graduating students within the Ottawa Carleton District School Board.   Who have demonstrated leadership in local projects that involved cross-cultural initiatives and which helped to effect a better understanding of other cultures. 

Students must have received a minimum 75% average in their recently completed school year

IIana and Steven Rubin Educational Scholarship

Scholarship valued at $1,800. This scholarship aims to help students who wish to attend a Canadian or Israeli post-secondary institution college or university.  

Applications for the 2019 scholarship open January 21st and run until April 12th.

Cliff Bennett Nature Bursary Fund 

The Bursaries - one or more awards of $1,000 in 2019  - will go to area graduating secondary school students with a demonstrated love of and appreciation for our natural environment.

Black Canadian Scholarship Fund 

Criteria: Be a Black Canadian Student graduating from a high school in the City of Ottawa.
Have an interim or final average of at least 75% in 6 grade 12 courses.
Be a Canadian Citizen.

National Union of Public and General Employees Scholarships 

There is six scholarships offered of $1,500 each to students who plan to enter the 1st year of a public post-secondary institution full-time in 2019-2020. Scholarships are open to children / grandchildren or foster children of a National Union member.

The Heer Law Entrepreneurship Scholarship
